**Packaging Engineer - GSPE**
**ROLE AND DEPARTMENT**
- Support and advise the marketing teams.
- Responsible for the development end to end of the giftsets.
- Ensure the technical coordination of projects with the various suppliers and subcontractors.
- Carry out the tasks required in the different stages of the GIFTSETS development process.
- Represent and support GSPE in all legal aspects of packaging (regulation), sustainability & logistics data.
**THE ROLE**
- Manage the RFQ1 and RFQ2 workstreams for her/his brands.
- Participate/animate in weekly review meetings for brands in her/his scope.
- Respect and ensure adherence of all GSPE key milestones.
- Alert her/his manager in case of deviation on her/his GSPE tasks that may jeopardize the project (ICW due date).
- Validate the component drawings (all elements in the giftsets).
- Provide/enter the required information in ESKO.
- Validate the artworks in ESKO and suppliers' bromides according to the current SOP on technical/legal criteria.
- Edit/approve specifications in Prosper.
- Fill in/maintain the technical files/trackers.
- Carry out validation/approval tests.
- Request action plans from suppliers in the event of non-conformity of a component during approval.
- Transmit technical agreements to suppliers.
- Collect/claim the elements/benches validated by Marketing,
**WHAT YOU'LL BRING**
Essential:
- Engineer degree with at least 6 months technical experience
- Good conduct of English, the team works closely with integral teams
- Master software such Prosper, ESKO, CAPE Pack, Excel, Outlook
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the test procedures, manufacturing process of the sets and its components, the printing techniques, plastic processing, and different materials (carton, paper, plastic, ribbon).
- Ability to read and analyze industrial drawings, detect design errors and address to suppliers
- Calculate/determine palletization
