What are we looking for?
Wallbox seeks a Software Engineer specializing in Python to join our Automation and Test Solutions team. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality of Wallbox's ecosystem, including backend systems, front-end interfaces, mobile apps (iOS and Android), and EV chargers.
The main responsibility involves designing robust software architectures following SOLID principles to develop scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions.
The Software Engineer will work within a cross-functional team, collaborating closely with software and electronics engineers and the product team. This collaboration is vital for understanding user needs, delivering technical solutions, and prioritizing feature requests. The role also involves improving existing systems, requiring both new development and ongoing enhancements.
Ultimately, this role impacts the development and maintenance of automated testing solutions, directly influencing the reliability and performance of Wallbox's charging technologies.
Requirements
Must-have requirements:
* 2+ years of experience in Python programming.
* Strong experience in Software Configuration Management.
* Experience configuring CI/CD frameworks, e.g., GitLab.
* Team spirit.
* Problem-solving orientation.
* Attention to detail and quality.
* Fluent in English.
Nice-to-have requirements:
* Experience with Agile development methodologies.
* Experience working with AWS infrastructure.
* Familiarity with testing tools.
* Knowledge of Python frameworks like Django and Flask.
* Experience with concurrent computing.
* Linux system administration skills.
* Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Node.
