Your position
As a Financial Reporting Professional, you will oversee all financial aspects of the RHI Magnesita entities in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. Your area of responsibility includes overall control of all financial transactions and accounting matters, ensuring legal entity reporting is done accurately and in compliance with local statutory requirements and group accounting guidelines (IAS/IFRS). In this role you will also ensure the flow of accurate financial information to the Head of Regional Finance and act as the intermediary between the shared service center, the corporate and group functions, and external parties. Moreover, you will support various internal finance projects.
Key responsibilities
* Preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual accounting statements including the Annual Group Statutory Reporting packages
* Cooperation with and supervision of our shared services center
* Close cooperation with group auditors and other external parties
* Payment approval for payroll and supplier invoices
* Ensuring company compliance with RHI Magnesita’s corporate internal control procedures and guidelines
Your profile
* Open‑minded & communicative team player with a flexible and deadline‑driven approach and the ability to work independently
* A degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
* A few years of experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting, ideally in a technology or IT services environment
* Solid knowledge in accounting (e.g. IAS/IFRS)
* Strong proficiency in SAP and MS Excel
Languages
German – advanced
Nice to have
Chartered Accountant certification, HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) knowledge
