Senior DXP Architect / 3 month freelance contract / Fully remote
YunoJuno has partnered with a Consultancy who are looking to hire a Senior DXP Architect on a freelance basis.
As a Freelance DXP Architect, you will take end-to-end technical responsibility for designing, implementing, and guiding the development of complex digital platforms built on Optimizely CMS and the Optimizely Digital Experience Platform (DXP).
You will support our interdisciplinary team of designers, consultants, and engineers with architectural leadership, hands-on implementation, and expert guidance throughout the full project lifecycle—from discovery and solution design to delivery and optimization.
Our clients are large B2B and B2C organizations with strong digital ambitions. As a senior expert, you provide technical leadership, challenge requirements, ensure technical quality, and help elevate the team with your experience.
Responsibilities
* Lead the architecture and solution design for Optimizely-based platforms
* Provide hands-on technical direction to development teams
* Define content models, API strategies, integrations, and system architecture
* Conduct technical reviews, audits, and ensure adherence to Optimizely best practices
* Collaborate with strategy, UX, and design teams to shape scalable solutions
* Support project estimation, PoCs, and technical workshops with clients
* Mentor team members and provide expert-level guidance in Optimizely development
* Drive continuous improvement of our Optimizely delivery framework
Qualifications
Optimizely Expertise
* Proven hands-on experience with Optimizely CMS / Content Cloud
* Solid knowledge of Optimizely DXP, hosting, deployment pipelines, environments, and content delivery APIs
* Experience with is a plus: Optimizely Find (Search & Navigation)
* Understanding of Optimizely best practices around performance, caching, security, and scaling
* Strong background in .NET / C#, ASP.NET Core, and modern integration patterns
* Experience with headless/decoupled architectures and API-first solutions
* Ability to design content models, taxonomies, personalization setups, and editorial workflows
* Familiarity with modern web technologies (REST APIs, GraphQL, HTML5, JS/TS, CSS)
General Technical Skills
* Solid understanding of SQL databases (MS SQL Server or Azure SQL)
* Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, Azure DevOps, Visual Studio/Rider
* Ability to create technical concepts, architecture diagrams, and documentation
Soft Skills & Work Style
* Strong communicator who can confidently interact with stakeholders and clients
* Able to quickly grasp business requirements and translate them into scalable architectures
* Structured, proactive, and independent working style
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
* Very good English skills
Duration: 3 month freelance contract initially
