Verisure is seeking a talented, innovative, and passionate Senior Financial Analyst to support our Technology platform within the Finance function and become a business partner to our awarded South Technology Team – located in Madrid. The role will report to the Group Finance Manager – Technology, based in our industry‑leading Innovation Centre in Madrid and will be part of the Group Finance Technology team (based in Madrid / Spain;
Malmö / Sweden;
and Geneva / Switzerland).
This position offers an opportunity to impact our ambitious Technology innovation programmes while gaining high visibility across the organization through regular interaction with senior stakeholders, Technology leadership teams and international platforms. The successful candidate will be expected to impact quickly and develop as the business grows. In this fast‑growth and transformational context, the Senior Financial Analyst – Technology will provide Financial Leadership and Business Partnering for the Group Technology Organization by building a holistic view and driving a strong customer‑services culture.
Main Responsibilities

- Commercial Finance/Business Partnering:
-
- Business Partnering and financial support to the South Technology Organization and South platform countries. Ensure transparent, consistent, accurate planning & reporting. Champion an environment of innovation and earn trust with stakeholders. Viewed by functional & business partners as the expert and "go to" key source.
- High exposure role with regular interaction with international platforms and senior stakeholders across Technology and Finance teams.
- Business leadership: Goes beyond the mere reporting of data. Insight and well‑articulated action steps accompany all reports. Anticipates and resolves issues and captures value creation opportunities.
- Financial Controlling and Budgeting:

- Technology Controlling and Budgeting: Support and lead the month‑end review process and budget process generation with IT and countries (actuals vs budget). Ensure that performance and cost indicators are properly recorded, filed, and reported. Examine reports and data closely to check for discrepancies.
- Stewardship: Provide support and guidance on internal and external policies to business partners. Continuous auditing for reporting, analysis, and finance processes impacting the business.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with the wider Group Tech Finance team to develop processes / templates / tools for effective planning, controlling and reporting.
- Reporting: Ongoing improvement of management reports such as Opex/Capex, Project tracking, FTE, Time reporting, etc.
- Analysis/Projects:

- Own & drive relevant financial analysis/projects within the Group Technology areas. Provide clear and actionable data, insights & tools to support business partners in decision making and achieving goals. Share learnings within the Group Finance team and beyond.
- Drive simplification projects and process standardisation between North and South platforms.
Candidate Profile – Experiences and Qualifications

- 4–6 years of finance experience in an international context (ideally involved with Technology) in a generalist or specialist capacity – ideally with a focus on Financial Planning and Analysis
- Advanced financial modeling skills and strong proficiency in MS Excel
- A solid understanding of accounting principles, with a strong interest in IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
an MBA or professional certification (CFA, CPA) is a plus
- Successful track record having worked, led, and performed in multicultural and matrix environments in contexts of high growth, change and transformation.
- Agility, outstanding analytical skills, and business judgment as well as the ability to pick up concepts quickly, dive deep into issues and effectively collaborate within a dynamic environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, proven experience in building data models.
- Excellent command of English and Spanish. Other European languages a plus.
