A real estate developer is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a luxury villa development within a master-planned residential community in Marbella. This role will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of the project, ensuring delivery within approved parameters of cost, schedule, quality, and design intent.
Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Manager will coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful execution from design development through construction and handover.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, procurement strategies, and delivery milestones.
* Manage the design and construction process for luxury villas within the master-planned community.
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure design intent and technical standards are maintained.
* Monitor project costs, budgets, and financial performance, providing recommendations where adjustments are required.
* Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation and contingency strategies.
* Lead project meetings and ensure effective communication between all project stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with local Spanish regulations, planning approvals, and construction standards.
* Track project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
* Ensure delivery of villas on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Candidate Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
* 8–12+ years of project management experience within construction or real estate development.
* Proven experience delivering luxury villa community developments from early stages of design coordination and authority approvals through to construction and handover.
* Strong understanding of project budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
* Knowledge of Spanish construction regulations and permitting processes is highly desirable.
* Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
* Results-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Must have the legal right to work in Spain (EU citizenship or valid Spanish work authorization).
