The Senior Communications Associate – Corporate & EMEA will support enterprise employee communications by managing global and regional activities to inform and engage employees through strategic and dynamic communications. This role will also lead data analytics strategy and execution, ensuring a data-driven approach to employee communications.
The role will partner with internal clients to develop communication strategies to engage employees globally and regionally, especially for change management and transformational activities.
Reporting to the Sr. Leader, Internal Communications as part of the Corporate Communications team, key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with internal clients to build authentic, engaging communications that support and drive corporate objectives; will also lead change management communications across the EMEA region.
- Demonstrate strong analytical ability by working on problems with a diverse scope and a variety of factors for data review and analysis.
- Recommend solutions to business challenges and resolve issues and assignments in a creative way, leveraging both data and communications expertise.
- Create innovative communication tactics to introduce new programs, processes or information, to increase awareness and adoption of current business-driven programs to drive employee engagement and business results.
- Co-lead communications projects or workstreams, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver impactful communications.
- Develop, implement, and manage internal communication strategies tailored to the EMEA region, ensuring alignment with integral corporate objectives.
- Strengthen employee communications measurement tools and efforts in working toward a data-driven, evidence-based approach for employee communications.
- Utilize data analytics tools to track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of internal communication campaigns and initiatives.
- Manage internal communication projects from conception through execution, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met with minimal day-to-day oversight and act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to leaders and clients on communication best practices and employee engagement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with corporate branding and communication standards across all internal messaging.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in internal communications and data analytics.
- Support the continued improvement of internal channels to further modernize and digitize employee communications, develop processes and resources to further enhance employee communications and cross collaboration across the organization.
- Independently create engaging content for various internal channels including intranet, newsletters, emails, video, and virtual town halls.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing communications or related field with 5+ years experience.
- Ability to write quickly. Familiarity with Associated Press style is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience serving as a subject matter expert and co-leading projects is highly desirable.
- Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management.
- Strong knowledge of employee communication strategies.
- Strong writing and editing skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Develop and edit articles for publication on internal communication channels.
