About the role

As a Sales Distribution Manager you will handle and develop Wholesalers (W/S) accounts in the designated area of Balearic Islands in order to deliver the profit, volume, sales driver and brand building, expressed in the commercial plan. You ‘ll be developing compelling customer propositions that unlock growth opportunities and improve the balanced profit delivery.


In this role, you 'll:

1. Develop the area coverage/contact plan to guarantee delivery of targets expressed in the commercial plan.

2. Drive of maximum Return of Investment (ROI) from allocated area (through commercial proposals).

3. Monitor and follow up on brilliant execution through regular and consistent coverage plan within outlets.

4. Manage relationships (commercial agreements according to policy, implementation of agreements, exploration of opportunities).

5. Detailed tracking and monitoring of financial performance.

6. Be responsible for governing depletions and stock data.

7. Monthly forecast review (Anaplan)

8. Closure of aging debt (collections).

9. Action on tailor made activation and detailed elements of activity execution.

10. Continuous customer contact/network plan within your area.

11. Identify opportunities for new business development in your area.

12. Accurate and timely approval of rebates, invoice claims and deductions.

13. Strong ownership of the day-to-day customer relationship through effective negotiation, persuasion and conflict management/resolution skills.

14. Ability to understand customer requirements and match these to specific Diageo propositions.

15. Implementation of plan actions with particular focus on preparation (product prioritization, NSV, debts etc.)

16. Excellent collaboration with Outlet Developers and effective information flow within the team regarding Sell Out, Stocks, opportunities, competition etc.

17. Ongoing & effective cross-functional partnership to deliver comprehensive performance

About you

18. Experience in a Sales department of FMCG - On Trade Channel experience is a big plus.

19. Excellent relationship-building skills, confident, honest and solid communication, team-playing, innovative thinking, results-orientation, trustful, high energy and drive, extraordinary negotiations skills, good prioritization

20. P&L literacy - strong numerical and analytical skills

21. Comfort in using MS Office (especially excel)

22. Fluent in Spanish and an intermediate level of English

23. Highly analytical

24. To be based desirably in Girona, other option can be Barcelona
