The Opportunity
The FAAS teams offer services related to financial accounting and advisory across various industries, utilizing the latest financial tools and technologies. In FAAS GDS, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and quality delivery, working closely with senior managers and interacting directly with onshore teams.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Understanding of IFRS, GAAP conversions, and assurance concepts
* GAAP conversions and accounting standard implementation
* Drafting and designing accounting policies
* Technical accounting research and advice
* Support for consolidation and compilation
* Financial statement close process support
* Transaction accounting and reporting (IPOs, Carve-Outs, PPA, etc.)
* Accounting changes (revenue recognition, lease accounting)
Skills and Attributes
* Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
* Team player with multitasking ability, flexibility, and resilience under pressure
* Commitment to continuous learning and process improvement
Minimum Qualifications
* University degree with understanding of financial accounting and advisory concepts
* 3-7 years of relevant experience
* Qualified accountant (ACCA / CPA / ICAC approval, registered with ROAC)
* Proficiency in English (at least B2) and German (at least B2)
