Responsibilities
1. Manage and develop business with the existing distribution network in the assigned territory.
2. Increase Rain Bird’s market share with distributors, dealers and contractors.
3. Conduct product demonstrations and become a product technical expert.
4. Promoting the use and purchase of Rain Bird products and services with a focus on brand conversion and customer loyalty.
5. Establish and implement strategies and plans within the assigned territory.
6. Make Rain Bird the most visible manufacturer to all dealers and contractors in the region.
7. Participation in all relevant events for the purpose of networking and generating opportunities to sell Rain Bird products.
Qualifications
8. Bachelor’s Degree
9. 5+ years’ progressive sales and business experience
10. Microsoft tools, presentations and database applications (CRM) experience and knowledge.
11. Self-motivated, team player, aggressive, and strong communication skills.
12. Native Spanish and fluent English. Catalan is a plus.
13. Availability to travel up to 50% across the eastern regions of Spain.
14. Must be based in the Barcelona area.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
15. Experience working in the water/irrigation industry and/or professional equipment distribution.
16. Management or leadership experience
