SAP FI Consultant Senior with French– EY GDS Spain - Hybrid
The opportunity
We are looking for an SAP FI/Finance Senior Consultant to join our EY GDS Consulting Services team focused on providing cutting – edge IT solutions dedicated to the biggest market players in EMEA region.
You’ll be working using the best practices of SAP solutions from FI/Finance area including S/4HANA. The idea is to deliver business advisory services in the field of transformation and enterprise management systems; implement the processes in Cloud, Hybrid and on Premise environments, proceed successfully with greenfield and brownfield approach and dealing with Agile and combined methodologies. Your responsibility will be also to manage the quality of implementation projects.
As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.
Your key responsibilities
1. Support clients in selecting the most suitable business solutions.
2. Participate in advisory and SAP Finance implementation projects
3. Assist clients in IT transformation processes and the adoption of SAP solutions (S/4HANA, Central Finance, VIM, FPSL, Group Reporting, Accrual Engine, RE-FX)
4. Take part in post-implementation reviews of selected processes
5. Coordinate key project tasks and activities

6. You’ll successfully take part in implementation of SAP systems.
7. You’ll enthusiastically enhance your core SAP technology knowledge and experience.
8. You’ll be willing to work in international environment.
To qualify for the role, you must have
9. 4+ years of experience in SAP FI/Finance implementation.
10. Experience in standard project tasks: Fit-Gap workshops, configuration, testing, documentation, training,
data migration, Cutover preparation and execution.
11. End-to-end business processes understanding.
12. Knowledge in implementation of system enhancements and preparation of Functional Specifications
13. Strong knowledge about configuration of FINANCE, in some of these areas: Enterprise structure design,
Finance Master Data, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Product Costing, Fixed Assets, Real State, Statutory Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Profitability Analysis, Management.
Reporting, Strong cross functional understanding with PP, MM, SD.
14. Good accounting knowledge.

17. Higher Education Degree.
18. Excellent English verbal and written communication
19. French language C1 and above knowledge
Ideally, you’ll also have
20. SAP software solutions – Underpinned with strong functional process knowledge and an ability to
contextualize technology and deliver business value.
21. System integration skills.
22. Experience developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining
support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under inter-dependent project deadlines.
23. SAP Project Systems.
24. SAP Group Reporting.
25. SAP Analytics, Performance Management and Reporting.
26. SAP Financial planning solutions – BPC and/or SAC for Planning.
27. Hands-on expertise with any of the SAP Treasury core components ( Cash management, Transaction
manager, In-house cash, Risk analyzers, Liquidity planner, Hedge management and accounting, SWIFT
integration, BCM, integration with financial accounting and other applications).
28. Have experience of supporting pre-sales engagements and responding to RFP’s etc.
