Reporting to Operations Director, will be responsible to oversee all operational activities within a consolidated production facility. This includes leadership across manufacturing, engineering, safety, quality, logistics, and compliance functions. A key focus is maintaining a safe and high-quality environment aligned with regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for P&L; of the plant operations ensuring alignment with established budgets and business objectives.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and production planning, including coordination with customer supply chain teams.
- Ensure timely delivery of products and alignment with quality specifications.
- Drive cost-efficiency programs, continuous improvement initiatives, and behavioral safety strategies.
- Supervise maintenance and material handling procedures.
- Administer capital investment plans and lead operational projects.
- Manage performance monitoring systems to support strategic goals.
- Foster a positive workplace culture and maintain open communication with all team members.
Required profile
- University Degree in Industrial Engineering. Candidates with an Postgraduate Degree in industry or operations will be favorably considered.
- At least 8 years of experience leading manufacturing operations in similar environments, preferably in environments with strict regulation requirements, such as those found in the food production industry.
- Experience leading transformations in highly professionalized and complex manufacturing plants is a must.
- Fluent English.
