General Summary of the Job
Grow sales to geographic accounts in Spain and Portugal, establish and cultivate strong customer relationships, drive software sales and services, develop the ecosystem in Spain and Portugal, and report to the Area Director for Southern Europe Sales Group. Job location: Spain.
Essential Functions
* Grow Siemens EDA’s business in Spain and Portugal with assigned accounts & prospects.
* Develop and execute sales strategies and plans for assigned accounts focused on long‑term success with customers.
* Develop executive relationships to gain insight into customers’ business and technical challenges.
* Support the customer’s business initiatives within the assigned geography.
* Establish a clear understanding of the business drivers of assigned accounts.
* Manage the development and execution of account plans, sales strategies and opportunity plans with predictable forecasts.
* Identify specific opportunities with tactics and owners for all customer engagements.
* Represent Siemens EDA priorities and manage execution during all customer negotiations.
Skills And Abilities Required

* Ability to develop customer relationships at management level.
* Passionate and excited about trends and innovations in engineering and technology.
* Autonomous, energetic, proactive and collaborative work style with clear communication skills.
* Experience with target account selling, solution selling for PCB and IC accounts.
* Ability to manage multiple accounts concurrently and develop strategies to grow these accounts.
* Ability to work with Marketing and discover new logos and leads in the territory.
* Experience in developing trusted executive relationships with key stakeholders.
* Ability to work collaboratively across functions including Application Engineering, Finance, Legal, Product development, Business Partners.
* Ability to manage/report sales funnel through CRM.
* Preferable industry of origin: EDA.
Education and Experience Requirement
* Graduate qualification combined with experience in customer‑facing business development and sales roles.
* This role requires a highly self‑motivated commercially aware team player, open and willing to learn, able to work independently.
* Knowledge of the EDA and the electronic market would be a plus.
* Fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese language skills.
* Must be available to travel without restriction to appropriately service customers in Spain and Portugal.
