Experteer Overview You will design and implement data-driven, cloud-scale software for the Siemens ProductCERT SBOM service, focusing on high-performance and reliability. In this role you work within an international team to deliver API-first solutions and scalable architectures that handle security incidents and vulnerability workflows. You will optimize data processing pipelines, evaluate new technologies, and ensure robust operation under peak loads. - Architect, design, and implement scalable, high-performance software with emphasis on API development
- Contribute to end-to-end lifecycle including performance tuning, feature delivery, and rapid bug/security issue resolution
- Design resilient architectures to maximize operational efficiency and seamless continuity under peak loads
- Optimize data ingestion, processing, and retrieval for low latency and high throughput with performance testing
- Select and optimize databases and data storage technologies including relational, NoSQL, graph, and data lakes
- Write clean, well-tested code following security standards and architectural guidelines

- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or architecture for cloud-based scalable applications
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go (Python strongly preferred)
- Experience with API frameworks like FastAPI including versioning, rate limiting, and auth mechanisms
- Strong problem-solving with data structures/algorithms; graph theory knowledge a plus
- Knowledge of architectural patterns (serverless, microservices, etc.) and distributed transactions
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases and caching; graph database a plus
- Familiarity with webhooks and event-driven integrations
- Experience in performance monitoring, profiling, and identifying bottlenecks
- Knowledge of resilience engineering, idempotent operations, and safe retries
