Your Role
Are you a passionate Brand & Trade Marketeer ready to drive the growth of our beloved brands? Affinity Petcare is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team and make a significant impact, focusing on the Portuguese market. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing and Trade for our Expansion Marketing, you'll be instrumental in shaping and executing the country strategy, constantly seeking out new opportunities for expansion and ensuring our continued success.
What you will do
1. Strategic Growth Planning
Brand & Country Planning: Support the Head in crafting the annual Portugal Country Plan, turning general innovation and media strategies into local success stories that smash sales targets.
Portfolio & Pricing Mastery: Own the local "mix"—selecting the right products, the right sizes, and the right pricing to stay ahead of the curve and maximise P&L; health.
Innovation Lead: Drive the Innovation process locally, ensuring new launches land with impact and hunting for local white spaces and growth opportunities.
Cross-Functional Catalyst: Act as the local bridge between Sales, NPD, and Global teams to ensure every campaign is executed with 100% cohesion and zero friction.
2. Channel & Trade Vision
The "Gold Standard" Shelf: Define the visibility roadmap across channels, ensuring our brand is impossible to miss on-shelf and through high-traffic secondary placements.
The Trade Storyteller: Build and pitch "Trade Stories" to our retail partners, securing the listings and promotional support needed to dominate the market.
Tactical Execution: Own the promotional cycle and POS ecosystem; you are responsible for the "look and feel" of the brand at the moment of truth (the point of purchase).
3. Performance & Market Insights
