We’re on a mission to strengthen our Talent Acquisition organisation to help Wärtsilä accelerate the decarbonisation of the marine and energy industries by recruiting key talent even faster, better and bolder.
As part of this we’re now looking for a
to enhance candidate experience. This is a temporary position for 12 months. Preferred location is Moschato (Greece), Trieste (Italy) or Bermeo (Spain). You will work as a part of North, East and South Europe Talent Acquisition team, and collaborate talent acquisition professionals globally. This is a hybrid role.
What you will be doing
Each year approx. 30.000 candidates pass through a recruitment process with Wärtsilä – imagine the impact we can create if we leave every one with a positive impression!
In this role your primary focus will be to ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the whole recruitment lifecycle. This means partnering closely with our Talent Acquisition Partners, HR colleagues and business to understand our hiring needs, help build effective sourcing strategies, manage candidate attraction through passive and proactive means, carrying out first level assessments, booking further interviews, managing offer coordination and ensuring smooth contracting and onboarding of the successful candidate. You’ll also be managing key talent pools from candidate identification to continuous engagement.
As a Talent Sourcing Co-ordinator your work will focus on these responsibilities:
* Recommend suitable, cost-efficient sourcing strategies
* Write and publish compelling job adverts in line with our employer brand
* Proactively search candidates for open job requisitions
* Carry out CV and phone screening of candidates to create shortlists and support your Talent Acquisition Partner in presenting shortlists to the hiring managers
* Create, maintain and engage with key talent pools to ensure a strong proactive candidate pipeline
* Book interviews & assessments
* Maintain active communication with candidates throughout whole recruitment process
* Keep recruitment tools updated with actions and candidate statuses
* Contribute to development of and help implement new ways of working in your region
* Support our employer brand communication strategy
To be successful in this role, you’ll take pride in delivering an outstanding candidate experience from start to finish. Ideally, you:
* Understand business priorities and assess candidates effectively for current and future needs
* Have strong recruitment experience, preferably in IT, digital, engineering roles, in energy or marine sectors, and have worked in an international environment
* Are skilled in creating proactive sourcing strategies, talent pools, and engagement plans
* Can confidently discuss career opportunities with candidates, aligning their goals with ours
* Are an excellent communicator who values candidate and manager experience
* Can manage multiple hiring cycles across various managers with attention to detail
* Speak and write fluent English; other languages such as French are a plus
