As Commercial Finance Analyst, you will support the Spain Commercial Finance team in delivering strong financial performance by combining market intelligence and commercial data with financial analysis. Your role is essential in driving smart investment choices, robust planning, and turning trends into actionable insights for Sales, Marketing, and RGM.You will be a critical enabler of performance through strong forecasting, investment tracking, and business partnering. You'll help us understand not just what’s happening, but why—and what to do about it.Your key responsibilitiesSupport the month-end close process, including preparation of NSV and Gross Profit reporting, variance analysis (volume/price/mix/trade/A&P), and risks & opportunities tracking.Partner with Sales, Marketing, and RGM to provide actionable insights for performance improvement and investment decisions.Deliver robust inputs into forecasting cycles, including Latest Estimates and Annual Operating Plans, grounded in historical performance and forward-looking assumptions.Monitor G2N (Net Sales) and A&P investment, ensuring accurate tracking and ROI-based evaluations.Translate external market intelligence (e.G., Nielsen, distributor data, shopper panels) and internal data into insights that drive pricing, promo, and portfolio decisions.Develop and maintain dashboards and tools using Excel and Power BI to support decision-making and commercial conversations.Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit readiness, and support continuous improvement in processes and data quality.About you3+ years of experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, or related roles in the FMCG or consumer goods industry.Strong financial and business acumen with a solid understanding of the P&L, including price/mix, margin, promo effectiveness, and customer/channel profitability.Advanced Excel skills;
experience with Power BI, SAP, and/or Anaplan is highly valued.Comfortable using and interpreting external data sources (e.G., Nielsen, IRI, Kantar, shopper panels) and connecting them to financial performance.Ability to simplify complex information and present clear, actionable insights to cross-functional stakeholders.Strong communication skills in Spanish and English.A curious, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn.Nice to HaveExperience supporting multi-market analysis (e.G., Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, France).Exposure to performance analytics and profitability levers.Experience building or improving forecasting models with measurable accuracy improvement.Developed or contributed to distribution opportunity tools, cannibalization models, or scenario planning frameworks.Familiarity with SQL or advanced data tools beyond standard Excel reporting.This is a great opportunity to grow in a truly commercial finance role, gaining exposure to senior stakeholders and building a strong foundation in performance management, planning, and strategic support.
