The successful candidate will teach across Key Stages 3 to 5 and play a key role in preparing students for IGCSE and A-Level examinations. While we are especially keen to receive applications from Physics specialists, we welcome experienced Upper School Science teachers with strong subject knowledge across multiple sciences.Key Responsibilities:
•Deliverengaging and rigorous Science lessons, with a primary focus on Physics, tostudents across Key Stages 3–5.
•Preparestudents thoroughly for IGCSE and A-Level Physics examinations,incorporating practical work, theoretical understanding, andapplication-based learning.
•Supportinterdisciplinary initiatives and help foster a strong culture ofscientific enquiry across the school.
•Collaboratewith colleagues within the Science Faculty and across other departments topromote STEAM projects and academic excellence.
•Maintainhigh standards of classroom management, academic challenge, and studentwellbeing.
•Makeeffective use of school laboratories and specialist resources to deliverhands-on learning experiences.
•Contributeto the development of the faculty's curriculum, schemes of work, andassessment strategies.This is a permanent, full-time position with a September 2025 start date.Who we are looking for:
•A relevant degree in Physics or a related Science subject.
•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
•Experience teaching Physics to IGCSE and A-Level (or equivalent international curricula).
•Strong pedagogical knowledge and a passion for subject-based enrichment.
•Excellentcommunication skills and the ability to motivate students of allabilities.
