Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Head of Risk to lead the Risk Management function for our new operations in Spain. This is a strategic role within a regulated entity (EMI), responsible for identifying, assessing, and monitoring all operational and financial risks.This is a unique opportunity to build and lead the risk function from scratch, in a growing, high-impact environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Risk Management function across all areas.Identify, assess, and monitor operational and financial risks.Implement risk frameworks, policies, and controls.Ensure compliance with all regulations applicable to EMIs and international payments.Collaborate with strategic teams to support business growth.
RequirementsMinimum 4 years of experience in risk management within banking, payments, or regulated fintech .Strong knowledge of operational and financial risks, and regulatory environment (PSD2, EMI, etc.).Advanced English proficiency.Strategic leadership skills.Must be based in Madrid .
