Job Outline:
The primary responsibility is to develop business relationships with current and potential customers to generate and grow bookings and billings. This involves effective communication, positive negotiation, seizing opportunities, profitable quoting, and demonstrating the company’s capabilities.
What the role involves:
* Qualify allocated accounts to assess potential and determine the appropriate sales channel as directed by the line manager. Meet or exceed set targets.
* Implement the company's mission statement and six pillars go-to-market strategy.
* Conduct regular account visits, with a minimum of six per week, to present the company's sales proposition and create quoting or material listing opportunities.
* Maintain accurate customer profiles and activity information within CRM, including visit reports and technical opportunities, and follow up to increase part count.
* Identify and develop new accounts using support from self, line manager, technical, marketing, and corporate teams.
* Produce a weekly call plan following the corporate format.
* Develop design opportunities through technical support, enabling sales of designed products and business growth.
* Review the quote dashboard daily to maximize potential while maintaining data integrity.
* Conduct block diagram reviews regularly with the FAE, line manager, and focus suppliers as needed.
Do you have:
* Proven sales success within electronics distribution or similar, demonstrating consistent high sales and focused account management. A degree is preferred.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Commercial awareness, organization, self-motivation, and results focus.
* High accuracy, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of the electronics distribution industry and current market trends; supplier knowledge is an advantage.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
