ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS•Coordinate and operates groups up to 50 ppl average with F&B; or room only, cruises, congresses and entertainment•Organize all definite groups assigned in binders.•Effectively use Opera/Delphi while using existing sales standards to document all event activities and Manage client accounts in Opera/ Delphi – account assignments, space management, merge documents as needed and delete the documents as needed.•Receive, block, plan and distribute pertinent information regarding all in house events.•Ensures billing accuracy and conducts bill reviews with the clients prior to client arrival.•Work closely with other departments to coordinate and disseminate group rooms' information internally and to clients.Ie:?Reservations: rooming list, washes, attrition, block changes?Banquet: Set ups, meals scheduled?Kitchen: Menus, allergies etc...•Generate periodical reports for leaders on property, including but not limited to: Daily events, Groups inhouse, BEOs and Group Resumé, Revise BEO, etc.•Attend meetings as assigned – BEOS, pre-cons, etc.•Plan and conduct site inspections with the end client/agency prior to the event adding this information into the system after the site.•Contracts with outside vendors (musicians, florists, etc if requested by client/planning manager•Generate check requests for outside vendor payment if needed (negotiating rates when necessary for the good of the company)•Function as a liaison between planning and group clients as assigned i.e. Greet clients in the AM to ensure all meeting specifications are accurate, oversee banquet functions in the absence of a planning manager, etc.•Actively pursue new Catering business and innovative way to generate additional revenue and upselling opportunities.•Establish and maintain rapport with clients, prior to, during and post conference, encouraging repeat business.•Handle all aspects of customer service for assigned groups or tasks making sure the clients leav
