Job SummaryThe Business Development Manager drives partner acquisition, commercial differentiation, and long‐term growth for key hotel partners. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, enhancing value with existing partners, and executing strategic plans aligned with HBX Group's commercial goals. Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and cross‐functional collaboration are essential.
Responsibilities
Identify and target new strategic partners.
Build tailored value propositions and product offerings.
Coordinate closely with Acquisition to ensure efficient onboarding and conversion.
Target partners with uplift potential and design differentiated conditions.
Prioritise hotels by value opportunity and align with commodity owners.
Apply SPA model expertise and negotiate exclusive or tailored agreements.
Implement strategic plans agreed with the Regional Account Developer Manager.
Prioritise partner interactions based on impact.
Analyse customer needs, market trends and competitive offerings.
Support ecosystem deployment (Roiback, MKT, Data, Insurance, etc.).
Identify pipeline potential and improve contracting quality to drive conversion.
Build long‐term joint growth plans with partners.
Identify opportunities aligned to partner strategy (markets, segments, lead‐time, volume).
Work with commodity, acquisition, differentiation and direct channel teams.
Support transitions into differentiated models (SPAs, strategic acquisitions).
Collaborate with marketing, operations and commercial teams to ensure smooth delivery.
Build strong relationships with customers and hotel partners.
Apply consultative selling to drive value.
Support negotiations and optimisation with key strategic accounts.
Represent HBX at industry events and trade shows.
Skillset and Experience Required
Strong market knowledge and relationship‐building ability.
Commercial acumen and advanced negotiation skills.
Strong business development and planning capability.
Data‐driven decision‐making.
Understanding of HBX products and hotel revenue management principles.
Collaborative, adaptable and effective across cross‐functional teams.
Experience in commercial, client‐facing roles.
Contracting and negotiation experience.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Experience in account planning and account growth.
