About the role
The Sales Analyst contributes to the growth and continued success of our commercial strategy in pharmacy in Spain, by analyzing performance across a wide variety of territories, categories and building with this analysis the best strategic plan to boost the pharmacy channel potential.
A Sales Analyst plays a vital role in shaping a company's market presence and revenue growth. Their responsibilities typically include:
1. Sales Forecasting: Using historical data and market insights to predict future sales and guide strategic decisions.
2. Market Research: Analyzing competitors and industry trends to refine sales strategies.
3. Performance Metrics: Creating dashboards and reports to track sales effectiveness and optimize processes.
4. Go-to-Market Strategy: Define the roadmap of the channel / Choose the Right Distribution through the different channels and teams / Align Sales and Marketing Efforts Optimize Pricing Strategy / Define the customer journey
5. Category Development: Identifying and optimizing product categories to enhance market positioning and customer engagement.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with marketing, finance, and operations teams to align sales strategies with broader business goals.
Key Roles & Responsibilities as Sales analyst:
7. Responsible for building and supporting strategic decision-making, analyzing the market and trends, creating detailed reports and dashboards identifying opportunities and risks and developing key action plans for the channel with CEX and marketing.
8. Lead within the CCC, forecast meetings analyzing and revising the historical data to deliver accurate projections about market and business conditions, anticipated opportunities and managing risks to protect the target
9. Liaise with Commercial Excellence and Marketing and provide an objective vision based on data, insights, commercial knowledge… for building business opportunity plans of new launches, commercial actions and promotional activations.
10. Build the best commercial plan to boost the brands and pharmacy channel potential.
11. Gathering, processing, and analyzing internal and external data to track the performance and communicate findings to the sales team to drive the plan.
12. Sales process management: develop, implement, and optimize sales process within sales force to drive efficiency and effectiveness throughout the sales cycle.
13. GTN monitor and control to guaranty a healthy business grow.
14. Identifying areas for improvement: Analyze sales processes and provide recommendations to optimize and improve sales performance.
15. Supporting sales presentations and proposals: Assist the sales team in creating data-driven presentations and proposals for potential clients.
16. Define and track the GTM strategy.
Qualifications and skills Essential
17. Management Degree (preferably Business, Economics)
18. Fluent English & Spanish.
19. Relevant previous experience in a similar role, preferably in Consumer healthcare (minimum 3-5 years).
20. Strong analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics, and measurable implementation plans.
21. P&L management. Budgeting and forecasting, financial acumen.
22. Commercial acumen, strong team player in creating and managing relationships at all levels
