About us:
Join our dynamic Legal team, where collaboration, excellence, and continuous growth are at the heart of everything we do. Our department is composed of 7 professionals — 2 based in Switzerland and 5 in Palma de Mallorca — and is structured into two main areas: (i) Legal Commercial and (ii) Litigation & Corporate.
We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Litigation & Corporate team in Palma de Mallorca, reporting directly to the Head of Litigation & Corporate.
Role overview:
We are seeking a mid-level Legal Counsel capable of working independently while continuing to grow professionally. The role focuses primarily on claims, litigation, corporate matters, and data protection, with exposure to additional areas such as compliance, civil law, contractual law, and cross‑departmental legal advisory work.
You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external law firms, notaries, and other partners to safeguard the company’s interests and support the business on a day‑to‑day basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Claims & Litigation: Manage and prepare litigation cases, coordinating directly with external lawyers.
* Corporate: Draft and review internal and external corporate documents and provide support to notaries in all relevant jurisdictions.
* Contract management: Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with external business partners.
* Legal Advice & Support:
o Provide accurate and timely legal advice on civil, commercial, corporate, administrative, and contractual matters.
o Support internal teams with contract‑related queries and ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
* Data protection:
o Advise on GDPR, Spanish data protection regulations, and internal privacy policies.
o Draft and review data protection clauses and Data Processing Agreements.
o Coordinate with the DPO, handle data subject requests, and identify privacy risks with appropriate mitigation measures.
* Compliance:
o Assist in the development, review, and implementation of internal policies.
o Support internal training, compliance controls, reporting, and audits.
o Contribute to strengthening the company’s compliance culture.
* Project support: Provide one‑to‑one legal, administrative, and project support to ongoing strategic initiatives within the department.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
* Mandatory
o Residency in Palma de Mallorca.
o University degree in Law or Bachelor of Laws from a European country.
o 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, ideally in a corporate environment.
o Proficiency (C1) in Spanish and English; German is a plus.
