Location: Laude San Pedro International College, Marbella Duration: July (5 weeks) Working Hours: 08:30 – 14:30, Monday to Friday Remuneration: €400 per week (Lunch included) JOB SUMMARY This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in delivering a high-quality summer camp experience while gaining valuable leadership and management experience. As an Activity Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organising, and delivering a wide range of engaging activities for children aged 7–15 at our international summer camp. Working closely with the Camp Director and activity team, you will lead daily activity sessions, support and guide Activity Assistants, and ensure a safe, fun, and inclusive environment at all times. You will also coordinate off-site excursions, including regular beach trips, and help ensure smooth daily operations across the camp programme. This role is ideal for energetic, responsible individuals who enjoy working with children and are confident leading groups, delivering activities, and taking ownership of day-to-day camp life in a dynamic summer setting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Activity Planning & Delivery Plan and deliver a diverse programme of engaging activities including sports, games, arts & crafts, team challenges, and creative workshops. Ensure activities are well-structured, inclusive, and appropriate for children aged 7–15. Adapt sessions to suit group needs, energy levels, and weather conditions. Leadership & Team Coordination Lead and support Activity Assistants in the delivery of daily sessions. Provide clear instructions, supervision, and encouragement to junior staff. Work closely with the Camp Director to ensure smooth programme delivery and daily organisation. Promote a positive, enthusiastic, and professional team environment. Supervision & Safeguarding Ensure children are supervised at all times and that safety standards are consistently met. Monitor group wellbeing and behaviour, addressing issues appropriately and reporting concerns to seniorstaff. Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment across all activities and excursions. Excursions & Outdoor Activities Lead and oversee off-site excursions, including regular beach trips and local outings. Ensure all risk assessments and safety procedures are followed during travel and outdoor activities. Manage group organisation, attendance, and behaviour while off-site. PERSON SPECIFICATION Essential Minimum age: 18+ Proven experience working with children or young people (e.g. summer camps, schools, coaching, youth programmes) Confident leading groups and delivering structured activities Strong background or interest in sports, arts, crafts, or outdoor education Responsible, reliable, and highly organised Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work well under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment Legal right to work in Spain and relevant documentation Must currently live in the Marbella area or have accommodation arranged (housing is not provided) Desirable Previous experience in a summer camp leadership or coordinator role English and Spanish language skills First aid qualification or safeguarding training Experience leading beach trips or outdoor excursion programmes Creative or specialist skills in areas such as drama, music, or team sports COMPETENCIES Strong leadership with a positive and proactive attitude Approachable, supportive, and confident with both children and staff Excellent team management and communication skills Flexible, adaptable, and solution-focused High level of responsibility with strong attention to safety and detail Energetic, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering an exceptional camp experience At Laude San Pedro we have high academic expectations for all of our students.
