Global Amplify Online Web DeveloperDescription -Description - Position OverviewAs Global Amplify Online Web Developer you will be part of the Global Policy team in the Global Omnichannel Go-To-Market organization. This organization is focused on using innovations and techniques to drive tangible business outcomes for HP and our Partners. The role will be part of a team focused to improve online customer experience in our Amplify Partners websites. Main objective is to develop and maintain both front- and back-end Apps and websites critical to establish a consistent online program for our Amplify Partners that will be compensated based on their performance.Key responsibilitiesDesign and develop features for our current App.Help modernize current solution, suggesting new technologies and best practices.The role involves creating, managing, securing, and connecting databases.Work with the different teams to deliver high quality solutions.Successfully follow development processes, coding best practices and perform code reviews.Know how to work with flexibility and a critical spirit in order to detect possible errors or areas for improvement in the strategies defined.Work with internal teams across the entire organisation (i.E. Digital Business Developers, Operations, Data Engineers, etc.) to implement and execute Amplify OnlineEducation and Experience RequiredUniversity or bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering; advanced degree or MBA preferred.Typically,3 to 5 years of progressive professional experience with a combination of Business Planning, Reporting and Analytics preferred.Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as JavaScript or HTML.Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks such as React.Familiarity with server-side languages such as Python, Java…Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL.Attention to detail.Ability to communicate and interact effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.Excellent communication skills (i.E. written, verbal, presentation).
