We are recruiting a Oligonucleotide Analytical Chemistry Senior Scientist to join the R&D team at one of our plants located in Azuqueca de Henares.
Scientist, Oligonucleotide Analytical Chemistry, you and your team will play an important role in the analysis and quality control of oligonucleotide therapeutics pipeline. Develop and deploy robust analytical methods to support in-house oligonucleotide synthesis, including novel chemistries and conjugates.Help design and manage key data pipelines.Collaborate internally and externally, representing Oligonucleotide Analytical Chemistry on project.Support analytical investigations, including root cause analysis, in collaboration with cross-functional teamsParticipate in hiring, mentoring and training of junior team members, ensuring knowledge transfer and capability development
A MS degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience in analytical chemistry or a related discipline (or equivalent).Six or more years of experience using high-resolution LC/MS(-MS) methodology in a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or academic setting.At least three years of experience utilizing modern mass spectrometry data analysis techniques, particularly as applied to biopolymers such as oligonucleotides, proteins, and/or glycans. A PhD in analytical chemistry or a related discipline with three or more years of experience.Experience with high-throughput LC/MS(-MS) data acquisition and analysis.Experience with the LC/MS(-MS) analysis of small molecules and/or biologics/oligos.Familiarity working in cross-functional matrix project team
Monday to Friday working hours, with flexible start times between 8:00 a.M. Permanent contract.
