Overview
Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for a Manager, Global Clinical Operations Learning and Training. This hybrid role can be located in Beerse, Belgium;
or Madrid, Spain.
The Clinical Trial Learning and Training (CTLT) organization develops and implements training strategies and designs for clinical trial training and Global Clinical Operations (GCO) functionally targeted onboarding programs. The role involves determining training needs, developing and implementing strategic learning initiatives, and leveraging resources to deploy the training plan. CTLT delivers learning programs that address gaps, build capabilities, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance preparedness of GCO roles supporting portfolio services.
Responsibilities
* Lead instructional design and training delivery for role-based programs across relevant GCO roles and functions.
* Develop training content, facilitate and / or deliver training, manage knowledge assets, and act as a training point of contact.
* Consult with management, employees, and departments to identify training needs and implement effective training solutions;
measure training effectiveness against business needs.
* Analyze training program data, attendance, and feedback;
submit recommendations to management to improve materials and delivery.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deploy, maintain, or retire training items and store documents per departmental procedures.
* Support continuous learning and knowledge management initiatives.
* Perform other duties as assigned by department leadership.
Training Point Of Contact
* Serve as a regional point of contact for role-based training questions.
* Collaborate with local and central partners to support inspections and audits for GCO training insights.
* Define, produce, and analyze GCO staff training data and metrics as applicable.
Collaboration With Key Stakeholders
* Routinely connect with training peers for globally aligned programs.
* Work with training coordinators and digital experts to ensure high-quality delivery modalities.
* Coordinate with vendors and champion / subject matter expert networks to support content and delivery.
* Engage with R&D Quality and Training Curricula owners as applicable;
seek direct trainee feedback for continuous improvement.
* Liaise with end-users, process owners, quality representatives, IT support, and other functions supporting training activities.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree required.
* Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in training and operations.
* Minimum 6 years of experience in the healthcare industry (Pharmaceutical, Medical Device / MedTech, Consumer).
* Knowledge of clinical research activities and the drug development process.
* Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design across modalities;
proficiency with onlineand instructor-led learning.
* Experience driving training productivity, strategy optimization, and process improvements;
development and management of training content and delivery.
* Demonstrated project leadership and strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Strong networking, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities;
ability to translate data into actionable plans.
* Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and execute tasks independently;
ability to collaborate across a matrix organization.
* Up to 10% travel required.
