As the successful candidate for this software development manager position, you will join an existing team in a key role working on developing software platforms and product technologies.
You will have a broad range of software development and management knowledge, including managing both onshore and offshore software engineering teams. The team you will lead will include offshore developers in India, as well as US & European-based developers.
Strong communication and teamwork with cross-functional, globally distributed teams—including product marketing, product support, quality, and service delivery channels—will be key to success in this position.

Responsibilities :
1. Leads / manages people and team operations.
2. Applies understanding of subordinate teams’ specialized areas to define roles, responsibilities, and resource requirements.
3. Ensures that the design and implementation of functional policies, processes, and projects align with the tactical business plan.
4. Has the autonomy to resolve technical and operational challenges within the department.
5. Resolves conflicting priorities; provides guidance to subordinates on complex challenges and assignments.
6. Manages resources to implement tactical business plans and programs/projects.
7. Develops operational plans and administers budgets, schedules, and performance standards to meet department/organizational goals and deliverables.
8. Collaborates internally and externally on matters related to organizational goals or processes.
9. Leads projects or initiatives that impact the team or broader organization.
Qualifications
1. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar discipline, or equivalent.
2. 2+ years leading design teams in successful software product development.
3. 10+ years minimum experience in a technical role.
4. Management and design experience in leading Cloud-based development within an AWS environment.
5. Management and design experience with Microsoft .NET and C#.
6. Leadership experience with teams using Agile, Waterfall, and other lifecycle processes.
7. Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
This is a full-time position with a weekly schedule, offering the option to work remotely. Applications will be accepted until at least April 21, 2025, or until the position is filled. The pay range is $143,000 - $269,000, plus bonus, stock, and benefits, with specifics depending on location, skills, and experience.
