THECORE-STUDIO is an international architecture and technical services studio based in Barcelona, delivering retail fit-out, engineering, and project execution services for global brands. We work across multiple markets, supporting clients throughout the full project lifecycle, from technical due diligence to on-site execution.
We are currently looking for a Technical Architect with strong fit-out and construction experience to join our growing international team.
Role Overview
As a Technical Architect, you will support fit-out, due diligence, and construction projects for international clients. You will play a key role in assessing technical feasibility, identifying risks, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality project delivery on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out technical site visits and prepare clear, structured reports.
* Review building systems, installations, and existing conditions, identifying risks and proposing solutions.
* Support fit-out and construction projects, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
* Prepare and manage technical documentation for due diligence and construction phases.
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, and local partners.
* Support on-site execution and follow-up during construction phases.
* Stay up to date with construction standards, methodologies, and sustainability practices.
Required Profile
* Degree in Architecture, Technical Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical architect or construction-focused role.
* Proven experience in fit-out projects (retail, commercial, or hospitality).
* Experience with technical due diligence is a strong plus.
* Solid knowledge of building regulations, construction systems, and site processes.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
* Comfortable working independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
* Availability to travel internationally as required.
