About the Job
We are looking for an Account Manager with a proven track record to join our Polymer Specialties business, which manufactures and supplies essential ingredients for the polymer industry.
The role focuses on sales of Polymer Specialties products across Europe and Africa and driving consolidation and growth in the polymer producing and fine chemicals markets.
Responsibilities
* Maximize total value creation for the business, maintaining and growing the business within commercial guidelines.
* Develop and nurture relationships at multiple levels with existing and new customers to optimize value and capture market information.
* Frequent visits to customers, distributors, and relevant industry events.
* Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships and an effective network.
* Identify and manage new business opportunities using CRM.
* Execute the pricing plan and apply the tiered service level policy.
* Monitor the order-to-cash process with customer service and provide accurate monthly sales forecasts to support production planning.
* Execute the sales channel strategy.
* Travel within Europe and Africa approximately 50% of the time.
Qualifications
* 2 to 3 years of demonstrated experience in a B2B commercial role.
* Excellent relationship builder and hunter at multiple customer levels.
* Balance between relationship management and hunting mentality.
* Ambition to work in a technical sales environment; preferred knowledge of the polymer/chemical industry.
* Bachelor’s degree in business, chemistry, or engineering.
* Fluency in English, Spanish, and Italian.
* Ownership mindset, self‑starter, attention to detail, accuracy in a complex environment.
* Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
* Strong negotiation skills and commercial attitude.
* Energetic, enthusiastic team player.
