Launch Excellence Lead – Rare DiseaseAs a Launch Excellence Lead, your mission is to lead and orchestrate the launch of high‐impact products, acting as the primary point of contact for assigned launches to ensure every product is fully prepared for successful market launches. You will act as the main bridge between global and local teams, translating global strategies into actionable country launch plans and ensuring execution is consistent, timely, and effective. Your role is key to embedding a robust launch framework, sharing best practices across affiliates, and driving cross‐functional collaboration so that every launch achieves maximum reach and impact.
Responsibilities
Lead, planning & execution of Strategic Launches: Drive the planning and execution of high‐priority, complex, and strategic product launches, serving as the main liaison between global and local teams and optimizing resource allocation.
Ensure Strategic Alignment: Guarantee that global strategies are effectively translated into local execution plans, fostering consistency and excellence across markets and aligning launch objectives with corporate priorities.
Implement Governance Frameworks: Deploy a clear governance model for each launch to ensure the right stakeholders are engaged, enabling timely decision‐making and focusing on value delivery based on a standardised launch framework. Establish and continuously refine the governance model that guides all product launches, ensuring stakeholders are aligned on principles, cadence, and decision rights.
Facilitate Launch Coordination: Organise and lead cross‐functional launch meetings to ensure effective governance and execution, fostering information accessibility, maintaining accurate and up‐to‐date information in planning tools and systems, and driving the cadence and discipline of governance forums to ensure that critical decisions, risks, and learnings are captured efficiently.
Manage Timelines: Lead the development and maintenance of integrated launch timelines, incorporating inputs from R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, Patient & Cx, Supply, DDAI, Commercial teams, etc., ensuring alignment and accountability across all stakeholders.
Drive Cross‐functional Collaboration: Coordinate efforts across global and local stakeholders to secure cohesive and efficient launch execution, fostering a culture of shared ownership and ensuring information flows seamlessly across all functions.
Identify and Mitigate Risks: Anticipate potential risks or bottlenecks, implementing proactive mitigation strategies to minimise impact on timelines and deliverables.
Foster Continuous Improvement: Capture learnings and best practices from each launch and facilitate knowledge transfer to continuously enhance launch readiness framework and performance across markets, generating knowledge‐sharing practices and embedding insights into the Launch Excellence framework for future launches.

What You'll Need To Succeed
Bachelor Degree in Business/ Science / Engineering or Related field desirable
Proven sound experience managing pharmaceutical launches at regional or global level, ideally within rare diseases or low‐prevalence products.
Strong strategic thinking and ability to navigate complexity, translating vision into operational execution and measurable impact.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple functions and geographies.
Demonstrated ability to guide and support affiliates in designing and executing effective launch plans.
Expertise in risk identification, mitigation planning, and performance gap analysis.
Proven experience in cross‐market knowledge transfer and driving continuous improvement initiatives, embedding learnings into frameworks, tools, and organisational processes.
Comfortable operating in multicultural, matrixed environments with a collaborative mindset.
Proficient in English.
