ROLE SUMMARY
Reporting to the Associate Manager, he/she will be the point of contact for Local Sales Team (based in the Spain), Western Europe Customer Team (based in Paris) and Regional Marketing Team (based in Switzerland). He/she needs to be able (and to enjoy!) to work in a complex fast-paced environment, have a high sense of ownership and relate well to different stakeholders, including those who are remote.
He/she will be responsible for support the Brand Manager in translating the Regional Category Strategy to Spain, developing a commercial plan for the different channels and customers, build and implement conversion marketing and being accountable for Net Sales, and Market Shares. This is NOT a consumer Marketing job (he/she will not be developing new products or advertising campaign) but rather a Trade Marketing job.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for Net Sales and Market Shares for the given category in Spain;
2. Translate the Regional Category Strategy into plans by channel and customers;
3. Identify Shopper Insights and translate them into actionable plans to win at the point of sales;
4. Manage annual equity
5. Build & Implement Conversion Marketing activities.
6. Develop and monitor campaign point-of-sale materials.
7. Support Senior Brand Manager in building pricing strategy;
8. Support Senior Brand Manager in building an accurate forecast, via the local S&OP process;
9. Develop Trade Presentations leveraging on regional materials;
10. For main customers, build tailored growth plan, leveraging on assortment, promotions, merchandising and Marketing activation;
11. Together with category manager, present innovation review to major customers
REQUIREMENTS
12. Business School Master or equivalent university degree;
13. Min 2 years’ experience in Trade/Customer Marketing, CatMan or Sales;
14. Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and oral)
15. Fully mobile, both short and long term;
16. Proficient Microsoft Office, mainly Power Point and Excel;
17. Previous experience in FMCG or in a Retailer is a plus;
18. Previous experience using market data/panels ( AC Nielsen);
19. Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a complex environment;
20. Drive for results with high degree of initiative and speed;
21. Strong Presentation and Analytical Skills;
22. Organizational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task and to prioritize
23. Team player, able to build relationships (even remote) at all levels and across function
