Project Overview
You’ll contribute to a precision agriculture platform providing data-driven insights to growers, agronomists, and insurance providers. The platform uses:
* React + TypeScript on the frontend
* Python (Django, FastAPI) on the backend
* PostgreSQL/PostGIS and Google BigQuery for data layers
* Hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, cloud-native applications in an agile environment.
Requirements
* Strong expertise in React ecosystem (Hooks, Redux Toolkit, Redux-Saga, Context API, component-driven architecture)
* Proficiency in TypeScript, CSS/SCSS, and responsive web design
* Extensive backend experience with Python, especially Django and FastAPI
* Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL and PostGIS
* Experience with cloud platforms, especially GCP
* Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD processes
* Ability to lead projects, communicate effectively, and deliver end-to-end features
Responsibilities
* Develop and enhance web applications using React, TypeScript, Redux, CSS/SCSS, and Python frameworks
* Own feature development from planning to testing
* Participate in architecture discussions for scalable solutions
* Collaborate with teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
* Design scalable database solutions with PostgreSQL/PostGIS and BigQuery
* Leverage GCP for cloud architecture and deployment
