The Finance & Accounting Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of financial statements by analyzing large volumes of financial data to improve efficiency and maintain accurate books. This role reports to the Finance & Accounting Manager and coordinates areas such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Taxes, and Fixed Assets.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Collaborate with the F&A Manager in calculating Corporate Income Tax installment payments.
2. Assist in calculating the final Corporate Income Tax with the F&A Manager.
3. Submit annual tax forms to the Tax Agency.
4. Support the F&A Manager in preparing and presenting annual statutory accounts and legal books.
5. Coordinate external and internal audits.
6. Submit internal controls for Global Risk and Compliance in the Archer platform.
7. Prepare and submit balance sheet account reconciliations using Blackline.
8. Manage treasury functions, including cash pooling, loans, and local bank accounts.
9. Perform forecasts for treasury depreciation and other financial items.
10. Prepare and submit the Banco de Espana report.
11. Review monthly financial statements (Profit & Loss, Trial Balance).
12. Ensure provision of all accrued expenses and revenues.
13. Review bank reconciliations.
14. Coordinate and follow up on electronic notifications from the Tax Agency.
15. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal policies.
16. Deliver accurate data for month-end and year-end closings on time.
EDUCATION / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
1. University degree in Economics, Business, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance role.
3. Knowledge of taxation principles.
4. Understanding of the main drivers of the terminal business.
5. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Experience with ERP systems, preferably IFS.
8. Proficiency in English (advanced level).
9. Proactive, dynamic, and ambitious, eager to learn and contribute to continuous improvement projects within the finance function.
