Responsibilities
* Guarantee that technical inspections are carried out in compliance with defined procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
* Implement preventive actions to avoid non‑conformities in inspection procedures and decide on continuation or suspension of activity.
* Analyze non‑conformities identified by internal or external audits and adopt appropriate corrective measures.
* Supervise inspector activity in situ and ensure continued technical competence.
* Issue competence certificates for inspectors for each vehicle type and inspection type.
* Maintain periodic controls on facilities and inspection equipment (metrology controls, calibration, service verification, maintenance).
* Draft, approve, and disseminate technical procedures and instructions and ensure suitability to the normativa.
* Supervise the training of newly recruited inspectors.
* Evaluate and manage the adequacy of inspector staff and inspection equipment.
* Prepare or approve technical documents and ensure compliance with the normativa.
* Ensure ongoing professional development of station staff through training programmes.
Requirements
* Engineering qualification with a regulated profession licence.
* High proficiency in Office productivity tools.
* Positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and effective communication skills.
* Advanced knowledge of Catalan and Spanish (C1 or higher).
