We are looking for an Accountant to join our Accounting team in Barcelona to undertake the month-end closing process for our entities, meet with the reporting deadlines and timings and ensure we are in compliance with Group Accounting Policies and applicable reporting standards. You will work closely with our local, Regional and HQ finance teams to manage financial processes, prepare reports, and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Maintain the company's accounting books according to the statutory regulations.
Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.
Conducts General Audit of all Accounting Ledgers on a regular basis.
Control and confirm all the invoices received and issued through the invoicing platform.
Ensure all accounting/financial Policies and Procedures are adopted in line with prevailing legislation.
Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP/IFRS) during the month-end closing reporting.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance financial efficiency and controls.
Work closely with the local finance team within different finance projects.
Support the Head of Finance with any finance or accounting related topic.
Adapt quickly to changes in company policy, tax regulations and legislation.
Bachelor's Degree from related departments (Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, etc...). 2+ years
of applicable work experience in Accounting or similar role for multinational companies.
~ Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end closing process preparation.
~ Open to learn the local accounting standards and tax regulations
~ Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures (GAAP/IFRS).
~ Good experience in SAP (or any other system) and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheet.
~ Fluent in
English (MUST)
with the ability to understand and communicate clearly and effectively (both written and oral).
