About our partner On behalf of our partner C&A, a multinational retail clothing brand with stores across Europe, we are looking for top talent to join rindus. C&A’s e-commerce division is headquartered in Düsseldorf, Germany. You will work in a distributed team from our office in Málaga, Spain, or from home.
What you'll be doing Define and implement the organization-wide test automation strategy.
Build, maintain, and scale Playwright-based test automation frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
Partner with multiple development and QA teams to integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines.
Provide guidance, mentoring, and best practices to developers and testers in test automation.
Set up automation pipelines, tools, and reporting dashboards for continuous testing and faster feedback loops.
Ensure robust test coverage and reliable regression testing processes.
Evaluate and introduce tools that complement Playwright (e.g., reporting, monitoring, performance testing).
Define standards and coding guidelines for test automation.
Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and QA teams to understand testing needs and ensure alignment.
Collaborate with DevOps engineers to integrate automated testing into deployment workflows.
Identify opportunities to enhance test efficiency, stability, and speed.
Implement test data management solutions and reusable components to reduce redundancy.
What you'll bring 5+ years in test automation engineering, with at least 2+ years leading or mentoring teams.
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation.
Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
Familiarity with CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable.
Solid understanding of QA methodologies (unit, integration, system, regression).
Understanding of test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
Strong communication and collaboration skills to support multiple teams.
Ability to lead automation initiatives and drive adoption of best practices.
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
