In collaboration with the Retail Business Analyst team and business users, support the Planning and Allocation department by providing clear analysis and insights to promote a data-driven approach for business decisions.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Accountable to the Retail Business Analyst Manager, work closely with the team to identify information and analysis gaps supporting data-driven decisions.
* Support management and the Retail Planning and Allocation department by analyzing trends, identifying gaps, and suggesting improvements through an analytical, data-driven approach.
* Provide clear KPIs, analysis, and insights to enable timely reactions to market-changing trends.
* Continuously review and optimize existing reports and analyses, adapting them to evolving industry needs.
* Promote efficiency and automation by exploring and implementing new solutions.
* Contribute proactively to efficiency improvements through automation initiatives.
* Collaborate with BI and MIS teams to develop technical solutions that support business information needs and ensure data quality.
* Participate in managing markdown activities by monitoring trends at country/product levels, providing analysis and simulations on sales, margin, and stock, aligned with discount budgets.
Qualifications & Experience
* +3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields.
* Fluency in English (written and oral).
* Proficiency in data mining, ad hoc reporting, and analysis to inform business decisions.
* Experience with business intelligence, reporting, and analytics tools (knowledge of Microstrategy, PowerBI is a plus).
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and VBA.
* Knowledge of programming languages is advantageous.
* Fast learner with a strong analytical mindset, adaptable to change, and able to work under pressure.
