Job Purpose: This role is accountable for executing, coordinating, and managing the Emerging Growth Accounts and Business Development functions within the Healthcare Business, across Pharma, Medical, and Technical Specialties. The main purpose is to ensure the EGA and BD team have the right managerial and process support to drive significant growth in this space, following new Sales Force Effectiveness strategic principles. It involves setting up, implementing, and maintaining clearly defined processes to translate strategic plans into action, and motivating & engaging the salesforce.
Job Dimension & Scope
* Staff: Lead a team of EGA Account Managers and BD Managers across Europe.
* Accounts: Focus on emerging growth accounts and new business opportunities.
* Stakeholder involvement: High and strategic.
* Budget Responsibility: 65M Euro plus Business Development pipeline above 10M Euro.
* Geographic scope: Multinational across EMEA.
Principal Accountabilities
* Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, trends, customers, products, and services.
* Develop tailored sales strategies and value propositions for customers and prospects.
* Articulate sales policies, procedures, and guidelines to support strategy execution, including pricing and contracts, while meeting regulatory requirements.
* Monitor business performance against targets and coordinate corrective actions.
* Develop and maintain organizational sales capability, championing Amcor Sales Force Effectiveness tools and methods.
* Hire, onboard, motivate, and manage team performance.
Qualifications/Requirements
* Bachelor’s qualification in Business or a technical field.
* Minimum 10 years of sales experience in an MNC environment.
* At least 5+ years in a sales or commercial management role leading successful teams.
* Excellent project, process, and people management skills.
* Experience in rapidly changing environments and setting up new roles.
* Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
