The Role, Team & Responsibilities :
The ClickHouse DBA will be responsible for managing and maintaining the ClickHouse based data warehouses used in Infovista's cloud native assurance products. This includes tasks such as :
* Installing and configuring the database software.
* Optimizing for efficiency.
* Troubleshooting any potential issues.
* Capacity planning and system dimensioning.
* Upgrades and resiliency strategies.
* Collaborating with developers to design and implement efficient database solutions.
Required Qualifications :
* 5+ years of experience as a DB Administrator on distributed cluster.
* Experience with database management and performance optimization, including :
* Benchmarking and performance testing.
* Sizing and capacity planning.
* Troubleshooting and resolving performance-related issues.
* Optimizing database configuration and parameters for high-performance workloads.
* Strong background and field experience with ClickHouse.
* Good understanding of I / O, networking, and troubleshooting on Linux.
* Experience with cloud native architectures (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Istio, Prometheus / Grafana, Keycloak, etc.).
* Nice to Have :
* DevOps experience, including CI / CD and test automation.
* Go lang and Java development experience.
* Experience with public cloud deployments (AWS, Azure).
* Experience with private cloud deployments (VMware, OpenStack, OpenShift).
