Our client, a global leader in hot runner systems and components for the plastic injection molding industry, is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover the Valencia region, as well as Southern Spain and Portugal. This is a remote-based position with significant travel across the territory. The role offers a great opportunity to take ownership of a high-potential market and work closely with leading clients in industries such as automotive, medical devices, and packaging .

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

Identify and engage new clients in Southern Spain and Portugal, particularly in sectors where injection molding plays a critical role.

Client Relationship Management

Maintain and grow existing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and encourage long-term partnerships.

Consultative Selling

Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions using the company’s full portfolio of hot runner technologies.

Develop and implement regional sales strategies, present proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals to achieve and exceed sales goals.

Project Coordination

Act as the main point of contact throughout the sales cycle, ensuring seamless handover to technical and service teams for implementation and post-sales support.

Internal Collaboration

Work closely with technical departments and internal stakeholders. Use Salesforce and other tools for effective CRM, reporting, and lead management.

Market Monitoring

Stay informed about market trends and competitive activity to continuously refine and optimize sales strategy.

What We’re Looking For

4–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in technical or industrial environments

Knowledge of plastics or injection molding is a strong plus

Self-driven, commercially minded, and proactive in seeking opportunities

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Fluency in Spanish and a professional level of English (for internal reporting and communication)

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently by car across the region

Comfortable working remotely while staying well-coordinated with the wider team

Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems
