Deutsche Bank’s Group Audit is expanding, offering an exciting opportunity to join our team. We seek motivated, creative, and curious professionals to contribute to our strategic objectives. We provide competitive salaries, benefits, and ongoing development within a supportive, team-oriented culture.
Who Are We? The Group Audit (GA) team, comprising approximately 700 staff, adopts a proactive, risk-based, and independent approach to identify control weaknesses within the bank's operations. GA is committed to high standards of professional delivery, acting as an independent, forward-looking challenger and adviser to senior management, and is highly regarded by regulators. We value diversity and inclusivity, emphasizing culture as a core component of our team dynamic. GA promotes strong governance, trust, excellence, and performance.
The Opportunity: GA maintains a professional, business-focused, proactive, risk-based global audit function that operates with integrity and independence. Your role involves assisting management in mitigating high-level control risks to protect Deutsche Bank’s assets, reputation, and sustainability.
Your Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls related to technology supporting bank processes; - Conduct technology assessments and ongoing monitoring; - Prepare, coordinate, and execute audit assignments; - Develop and maintain regulatory knowledge; - Build professional relationships and mentor junior team members.
What We’re Looking For: We welcome candidates from audit and non-audit backgrounds with a strong motivation to learn, inquisitiveness, and the ability to ask questions. Skills include multi-tasking, prioritization, teamwork, strong analytical and communication abilities, and high ethical standards. Relevant degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP) are preferred. Interest in emerging tech like data analytics, AI, cloud, cyber, or APIs is advantageous.
What We’ll Offer You: We are committed to your development and wellbeing, providing training, flexible/hybrid working arrangements, and a supportive environment to help you excel in your career.
