THE ROLE
As a Functional Consultant (SAP Payroll – Belgium), you will be responsible for configuring and implementing SAP SuccessFactors and/or SAP HCM Payroll solutions within client projects. This role combines both client-facing and internal responsibilities, ensuring solutions are aligned with business needs and delivered to a high standard.
You will work as part of a consulting team supporting key clients, ensuring successful implementation, deployment, and transition into production environments.
Additionally, you will contribute to pre‑sales activities, including solution design, project scoping, and effort estimation.
RESPONSIBILITIES Solution Design
* Lead or support client workshops, ensuring all decisions are accurately documented
* Design and configure payroll solutions aligned with business, functional, and technical requirements
* Ensure compatibility across different system components
* Support delivery teams in resolving challenges to keep projects on time and within budget
* Ensure smooth transition to maintenance/support teams
Data Migration
* Coordinate data mapping activities with clients and implementation teams
* Support data cleansing and transformation processes
* Ensure compliance with data security policies and requirements
Integrations
* Collaborate with technical teams to define integration requirements
* Support integration workshops and documentation with clients
Testing
* Execute testing activities and ensure issues are resolved prior to client testing phases
REQUIREMENTS
* Proven experience implementing SAP SuccessFactors and/or SAP HCM Payroll
* Experience in at least one end-to-end payroll implementation project
* In-depth knowledge of SAP HCM Payroll
* Strong expertise in Belgian Payroll
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Ability to lead engaging client workshops and meetings
