This is your opportunity to step into a large-scale data landscape and define how modern, cloud-native solutions are built and scaled.
You'll be working with a distributed, international team supporting a large portfolio of Data & Analytics projects within the Energy sector. Alongside a team of Solution Architects, you'll help guide 50+ engineers and multiple Product Managers, ensuring architectural consistency, scalability, and high-quality delivery across the board.
Your Role as a Senior Data Solution Architect:
You will act as the architectural authority across multiple data initiatives. This is not a purely advisory role - you'll be hands-on in design decisions, setting standards, and guiding engineering teams on best practices.
You'll bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with long-term transformation goals. From defining architecture to influencing coding standards, your impact will be seen across every stage of delivery.
What You'll Do:
Lead end-to-end architecture design for large-scale data solutions on AWS and Snowflake
Define and enforce coding standards, architectural principles, and service usage patterns
Act as the central point of contact for technical guidance across multiple projects
Partner with Product Managers to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions
Align architecture with business objectives across multicultural, cross-functional teams
Present architectural decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Support engineering teams with hands-on guidance across design, implementation, and optimisation
Act as the primary technical contact for complex architectural challenges
What You'll Bring:
Strong experience as a Solution Architect delivering large-scale AWS-based solutions
Deep knowledge of AWS services including S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Aurora, CloudFront, SQS, CloudWatch, SageMaker, and
AWS CDK
Proven expertise in Snowflake architecture and data integration xqysrnh patterns
Hands-on experience defining best practices and guiding engineering teams
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business audiences
Experience operating in large, distributed, and multicultural environments
AWS certifications are a plus
