manages the didactic team, plans class scheduling, and sets the tone for fun and highly social environment our centres are known for. You should be a great teacher who is looking for the chance to grow and manage a team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage, train, support and supervise the didactic team; to ensure the professional growth of teaching staff;
Schedule time-tables in response to the demand for classes in your centre;
Teach classes, depending on staff levels in your centre and substitute/find a substitution to cover classes when a teacher is ill/on sick leave;
Quality control through ongoing training, weekly staff meetings with the didactic team, class observations and staff appraisals;
Liaison with consultants and create good rapport with the students, as well as manage any customer service issues relating to your area of responsibility;
Coordinate teacher holidays/Saturday rotas/school bank holidays;
Coordination and weekly meetings with management on various aspects (Director/Centre Manager/Didactic Manager);
Promote the events that the school organises and ensure that the didactic staff is well prepared for the events and they are successful. xpzdshu
Requirements
Essential Requirements
Degree level or above
CELTA or Trinity Cert TESOL / PGCE TEFL, or equivalent experience
Ability to mentor and guide newly qualified teachers
Good communication skills
Demonstrable leadership skills
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Comfortable working with IT
C2 level English
B2 level Spanish
Residence in Spain with EU working papers AND Social Security number.
