What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a Junior Sales Development Representative to support the growth of our commercial pipeline. The role’s purpose is to identify potential leads, qualify them, and nurture existing ones, scheduling meetings for Business Developers and supporting the overall sales process.
This is a stepping stone role — an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who wants to start a career in sales and business development. You will gain hands-on experience in prospecting, lead qualification, and market research, with the possibility of growing into a Business Developer role in the future.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Lead Prospecting & Qualification: Actively source and qualify potential leads through cold calling, emailing, and digital channels.
* Follow up on inbound leads generated from events, marketing, or referrals.
* Conduct market research to identify potential new clients and opportunities.
* Pipeline Support: Nurture and track leads in the CRM (Monday.com).
* Schedule qualified meetings for Business Developers.
* Gradually support introductory meetings with potential clients.
* Market Intelligence & Collaboration: Collect and update information on market trends, competitors, and regulations.
* Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to ensure a strong commercial pipeline.
Requirements
* Recently graduated in Business, International Trade, or a related field. (We are also open to internship agreements if you are about to finish your studies)
* Strong interest in sales, business development, and sustainability.
* Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
* Proactive, communicative, resilient, and results-driven.
* Willing to learn and grow within a dynamic sales team.
Development Plan
* At 3 months, you will be able to:
o Understand the eMobility sector and the solutions VEGA Chargers provides.
o Confidently work with Monday.com as a CRM tool.
o Accompany Business Developers in client meetings.
o Conduct market research to identify potential leads.
o Start reaching out and establishing first contacts with leads.
* At 6 months, you will be able to:
o Work autonomously, achieving the established KPIs.
o Carry out independent prospecting and manage inbound leads efficiently.
o Schedule meetings for Business Developers while meeting performance targets.
o Provide a clear overview of the market you are working on.
o Collaborate fully using Monday.com as part of the sales workflow.
* At 12 months, you will be able to:
o Manage the full sales development cycle with minimal supervision.
o Consistently exceed KPIs in lead generation, qualification, and meeting scheduling.
o Provide actionable insights on market trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with qualified leads, ensuring a warm pipeline for Business Developers.
o Support Business Developers in advanced negotiations and gradually participate in closing opportunities.
o Mentor new SDRs or interns, sharing best practices and supporting onboarding.
o Be ready to take the next step in your career path towards Inside Sales.
