- Metrallia is a European group dedicated to industrial Quality & Safety services — metrology and calibration, regulatory inspection, and equipment qualification.
We bring together independent specialist companies under a long-term, decentralised model: each business keeps its name, its team and its day-to-day autonomy, while gaining the capital, scale and shared resources of a group built to last.
We are not a fund — we're a permanent owner, consolidating a large and highly fragmented European market.
We're at the very start of our build-out.
That's precisely why this role exists.
The role A founder-facing, build-from-scratch role that combines Chief of Staff and M& A Analyst.
You'll work directly with the CEO to stand up Metrallia's entire M& A engine — the systems, the pipeline and the outreach — and then help run deals through to close.
If you want a narrow lane inside a big firm, this isn't it.
If you want to build the function and grow with the platform, it is.
What you'll do Build the M& A engine Set up and own our M& A tech stack: CRM (pipeline + target database) + outbound/campaign tooling (e.g.
lemlist).
Design the origination workflow end to end — sourcing, qualification, tracking, reporting.
Build and maintain the target and intermediary databases across Europe (calibration labs, inspection and testing businesses, M& A advisors and brokers).
Originate & run outreach Lead structured outreach to advisors, brokers and direct targets — building relationships and a steady, qualified deal flow.
Run and continuously optimise outbound campaigns: messaging, response handling, follow-ups, and booking intro calls.
Support execution Prepare the analytical groundwork: company screening, market mapping, financial review, and valuation / returns models.
Help drive deals through diligence to close — coordinating advisors and keeping processes moving.
Chief of staff Be the CEO's right hand on whatever moves the platform forward, from investor materials to ad hoc strategic projects.
Who you are 1–3 years in M& A, private equity, transaction services, corporate development, or a strong advisory/consulting background.
Fluent in English and at least one other European language, ideally two (French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch...) Street-smart and resourceful — comfortable with ambiguity, you find a way and get things done without being told twice.
Autonomous and ownership-driven; you thrive without a big team around you.
Comfortable with tools and automation — hands-on experience setting up a CRM, lemlist or similar outbound tooling is a strong plus.
Sharp on numbers, well-organised, and a crisp communicator.
Why join Build an M& A function from zero and shape how an entire group sources and executes deals.
Direct, daily access to the CEO and genuine ownership of outcomes. xpzdshu
