Web Security Expert We are seeking a skilled Web Security Expert to join our team. As a key member of our security department, you will be responsible for identifying and helping to resolve security vulnerabilities in web applications, computer networks, and systems. Your main tasks and accountabilities will include: Performing vulnerability scans and basic penetration testing on networks, web applications, mobile applications, and other systems. Identifying common vulnerabilities (e.G., OWASP Top 10) and misconfigurations in IT infrastructure. Collaborating with the development team. Participating in penetration testing exercises. Utilizing automated tools and manual techniques to exploit potential vulnerabilities. Updating and managing penetration testing tools and software. Assisting in setting up and maintaining test environments. To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong knowledge of web applications vulnerabilities, understanding of common vulnerabilities and security testing methodologies, familiarity with basic networking concepts, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and programming/scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.). You should also have exposure to penetration testing tools (e.G., Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Wireshark) and experience in web programming. In addition to your technical skills, you will need to have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as you will be working closely with other teams to identify and resolve security issues.
