As we grow, we're seeking a proactive Dental Nurse to provide clinical and
administrative support to dentists during dental procedures, ensuring high
- quality, safe, and efficient patient care.
About the Role
The Dental Nurse plays a vital role within the dental team by ensuring smooth
clinical operations and providing excellent patient care. Based in our Barcelona
clinic, this professional will be responsible for supporting dentists in a range of
procedures, maintaining a sterile and safe environment and helping patients
feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit. This role combines clinical
duties with administrative responsibilities and requires strong organizational
skills, empathy, and attention to details.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the dentist during dental treatments (instrument handling, suction,
material preparation, etc.).
- Prepare, clean, and sterilize instruments and dental equipment according
to protocols.
- Set up and clean down the surgery before and after each patient.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointments.
- Provide post-operative instructions and oral hygiene advice to patients.
- Support with X-ray imaging procedures (if qualified and certified).
- Order materials from providers and manage stock levels of dental
materials and instruments.
- Liaise with laboratories.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection
control and radiation protection.
- Support the front desk with basic administrative tasks when necessary.
**Qualifications/Skills**
- Certification in dental nursing.
- Previous experience required, 1 year min
- Fluent English and strong Spanish (Catalan or other languages are a
plus).
- Familiarity with sterilization and cross-infection control.
- Confident with tech and digital tools; experience with dental softwares
(Gesden and others).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Friendly, versátil, and able to stay calm under pressure.
